the Deadguy album was a live show with Buzzov-en and Brutal Truth at CBGB's (what a line-up!), the KIG ep is as essential as their full length - I totally stole these links, enjoy.

AIMEE NASH / The Black Ryder

http://www.dronemagazine.com/2009/06/interview-black-ryder.html
So I Still have a hopeless crush on Aimee Nash!, ex Guitarist for The Morning After Girls and current Guitars/Songwriting/Vocals in THE BLACK RYDER, they are majestically brilliant enough to keep you entertained until My Bloody Valentine drop their (long, long promised) new bomb of an album, big call I know but this is the real fucking deal (just check who is playing on this record for proof of that), dirty, beautiful, heavy shoegaze psychedelia (just like they don't make no more), If this band are hyped (and hey they aren't having trouble selling out shows without an  album released yet... then its deserved, and fuck you, THIS BAND NEED TO RUN THEIR COURSE with yer support,  drugs of choice at the ready... BUY THE TICKET, TAKE THE RIDE... do them proud and make me a happy man. on behalf of me and Static Migration Records... do the right thing.

richard-

don

Clearing out my hotmail inbox again, TFU could have equally stood for "totally fucking underrated", died before making the 3rd album and what could have been a great collaborative project with Sean Ingram (the name of which escapes me at the moment but I think it was 'the american spectator').
TFU were way more experimental than most of the 'metalcore' bands at the time (before that term was an insult) and although I despise organized religion, the christian scene was more influential than it'll ever be given credit for.
When Sacramento seemed like the hub of all things musically fulfilling (and not the apparently tiny area it is), Eric Stenman was recording and producing countless bands of merit, and emerging from the not so ace sXe band Focal Point came TFU, tracks would often blur into absolute, psychotic noise, something between Zao and Namanax maybe if you want a lazy description. 2nd album was a studio only deal, all about the electronics and hugely distorted guitars, love it... found this: "Throwing A Wrench In The American Music Machine":

of course, they then went on to form Demon Hunter.. but the graphic design side of what the brothers do is sick.

Worth Travelling To The UK For

There are other reasons I'm sure... they skip my mind.

Funny, I don't even look like that goofy fuck anymore. About a month later I smashed those glasses into my eyes on the kitchen floor, plus I'm about 30kg lighter due to my... "health".

fuck off and die, but long may Dylan Carlson walk the EARTH.

The Italian Connection

I still have copies of the Ivs Primae Noctis demo cd , made and Printed in Italy on high quality card stock, this shit is fucking NUTS, its like Atari Teenage Riot raping early french Black Legions BM and are $5au a pop, I might throw in some extra stuff too. Lou and Violetta are 2 of the greatest people I know and I can't wait to one day get fucked up with them in Roma.

Its not for the weak of heart, Lou gave me a preview of the album and it will destroy you.

hey Lou, send me that parcel already homie!

AVE! Lou, Cristina and all.

Give The Human Devil His Due.

Why Start A Blog, Idiot?

My health isn't so good at the moment (nor has it been for a very long time) and in order to keep active in some way
(besides the long term project with Mike IX) I can Write, Archive (looking at old emails made me nostalgic enough
to post that first blog), spew my verbal bile and tell you what you should be listening to. I make no apologies, I am in pain
constantly... distorted, unhealthy, un-politically correct, decayed and frayed at the edges. I'll post whatever I want on here.
